If you need more evidence of the unequal impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, look at the June 27 paper edition of The Globe and Mail. Two articles appeared side by side: One article talked about 10,000 people lining up for groceries at a food bank. The other article talked about a corporate CEO whose pay package sunk to “just $5.8 million.” The contrast is incredible.
