I’m Paul Carvalho. I live in Hamilton, and work with families and individuals across Ontario. I began my finance career in 1997, when I joined a global financial custodian to head a team that supplied valuation services to pension and mutual funds.
After serving institutional clients for six years, I moved to personal wealth management to help individuals and their families achieve their financial goals. I also have experience in Commercial Banking, gained while working at one of Canada’s largest banks.
I have a Masters Degree in Business Economics and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

My Values
I hold myself to the fiduciary standard, the highest in the industry. This means I serve my clients’ best interests at all times. Unfortunately, many financial advisors in Canada do not hold themselves to the same standard as I do. It’s surprising, but true.
You deserve the highest standard in the industry. I believe that by putting client’s interests first, we achieve more together.
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)® designation
The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation has become the global standard for measuring competence and integrity in the fields of portfolio management and investment analysis.
Earning the CFA® charter is a highly selective process: Fewer than one in five candidates become a charter holder. It takes an average of 1,000+ hours of rigorous study to successfully complete the program exam, along with four years of professional experience.
